In an effort to prevent prescription
drugs from falling into the wrong hands, Madison police unveiled
a med drop box where residents can dispose of old or unwanted
medications. Police said the abuse of prescription drugs is
a growing problem among teens and adults and that the number
of drug-related deaths and overdoses in the area are on the
rise.
